A double door entrance with security guards at the door with fierce-some physique, and as you enter there are numerous security cameras. The moment one walks in, one feels like they are being constantly watched. Someone greets you at the entrance and welcomes you in. Stares and looks everywhere to ensure that you are being watched. 2 Floors filled with staff and their watchful eyes conducting an indirect search of your very being. The Power of Choice: A perspective of True Freedom.
We often a ridiculed by choice and measly on-goings in our lives, however, we forget that we all have more of a choice than we think. The video below sums up a perspective of how we can manage and control our thoughts. Perhaps waking up everyday, looking in the mirror and saying that you love yourself is not an action for a lunatic.
“Your Life, Your Perspective”
It is easy to capture and process what our five senses conjure or perceive in our brains. This is not the usual cliche; ‘look at the glass half full’. Instead this is about perceiving a realm that is yours to own and yours to distribute to those around you (indirectly). Our conscious mind is often overridden by our sub-concious and we let it take the driving wheel. But what if we change all that. What if we change our perspective. We already know that our world is perceived right side up because our eyes flips it. Does that mean that everything is upside down or we got gravity wrong?
Whatever the case, the right questions are important.
What are the right questions?
This, of course, is subjective. everyone has their varying opinion, however, that is the beauty of it. We are free to perceive whatever it is that we see fit. Let us look at a laptop for example; is it a computer or a gateway? Is it a device or is it an outlet for connectivity? The choice is yours to choose and that is the power of freedom. We have often seen this concept used. For example, look at boutique coffee shops that use old ‘throw aways’ as furniture to give a unique feel. Old pipes can be used as table stands. Old wine barrels can be used as ‘areas’ for standing consumption in busy metropolitan areas. It is good that we get to decide! If only we can put patents on our thoughts. Honestly, I hope that day will never come…
