RTW flight booked! locked n loaded!

After 2 gruelling long years, time and circumstance has saw fit for me to travel! I went down to STA Travel yesterday and booked my flight! It was a long process, but it is best to be thorough. I gave my branch manager my details, intentionally not providing my middle name (Chinese name), as I did not have trouble previously without the provision of this detail. But how dumb was I to think that a RTW would not need such details?? Well, in the end, I gave my details and the BM had to re-book all the flights! Boy did he have a sour face, but guess what? It turns out that one of the flights did not include taxes! *Phew! -Its funny how there is a reason for everything. Watch my Video!

To think, I am still months away from my travelling and I already have an ironic story! I was only able to book my flights in a year in advance because the flight schedule does not get released beyond the time frame of a year.

Well, if you have not already seen my tastefully done video of my destinations, here it is my itinerary words;

1. Singapore to South Africa, Cape Town – September 2012 to November 2012
2. South Africa, Cape Town to Argentina, Buenos Aires –  December 2012 to January 2013
3. BA to Chile, Santiago (On the Road!) –
4. Santiago to Peru, Lima (On the Road!) –
5. Lima to Ecuador, Quito (On the Road) –
6. Quito to North America, Atlanta – End of March 2013 onwards…

It is a very open travel plan. Dangerous? Yes. Scared? Yes. Excited? Always. -True excitement is when your journey is a mystery…

I have about 2 n 1/2 months to get through South America to make it for my flight in Ecuador. Not sure how I am going to handle that at this stage, but I have been talking to loads of people and been doing my research. The one and true item that I must bring along with me is an open mind! Judge not on to others as you would not wish others to do onto you! (…I know.. sounds Biblical..) -Who knows, I might come back a priest..
